QR Code Generator

Make QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS and contacts. Custom colors, PNG and SVG download, no sign up.

A QR code turns a link, a Wi-Fi password or a contact card into something anyone can scan with a phone camera. The codes made here are static, which means the information is stored inside the code itself, so they never expire and never depend on our website.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. Choose a type

Pick Link, Text, Wi-Fi, Email, Phone, SMS or Contact.

  2. Fill in the details

Type the information. The QR code updates live as you type.

  3. Download or print

Save it as a PNG for screens and documents or an SVG for print, or print it straight away.

Features

  • Seven QR types

Links, plain text, Wi-Fi logins, emails, phone calls, text messages and contact cards.

  • Never expires

Static codes hold the data directly. There is no redirect that can stop working or be held for a fee.

  • Colors with a safety check

Choose your colors and the tool warns you when the contrast is too low to scan reliably.

  • Error correction

Choose Low to High. Higher levels survive scratches, folds and small logos placed on top.

  • PNG up to 2048 px and SVG

Sharp files for websites, slides, posters and stickers.

  • No tracking

We do not count scans or collect anything. The code is made in your browser.

When to use it

Guest Wi-Fi

Print a Wi-Fi QR code for your home, office, cafe or Airbnb so guests can join without typing the password.

Menus and flyers

Link a printed menu, poster or business card to your website or booking page.

Business cards

A contact QR code adds your name, number and email to someone’s phone in one scan.

Product packaging

Point to instructions, warranty details or a support page.

Static versus dynamic QR codes

Many QR sites make dynamic codes that point to their own short link, then charge a subscription or disable the code later. Every code made here is static: the information is inside the pattern itself, so it works forever and does not depend on any website staying online.

The trade off is that a static code cannot be edited after printing. If the link might change, point the code to a page on your own website that you control.

Tips for codes that always scan

Use dark dots on a light background, keep the quiet border around the code, and print it at least 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) wide. Test it with two different phones before printing a large batch.

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes, completely. There are no sign ups, no limits and no watermarks, and the codes are yours to use commercially.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes with the information stored inside them, so they keep working forever.

How do I make a QR code for Wi-Fi?

Choose Wi-Fi, type the network name and password exactly as they are, pick the security type (usually WPA) and download. Phones that scan it offer to join the network.

Can I change the link after printing?

Not with a static code. Point the code to a page you control if the destination might change later.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is best for websites, documents and slides. SVG scales to any size without losing sharpness, which makes it ideal for printers and signage.

Why does my QR code not scan?

The colors may be too similar, the code may be printed too small, or the border around it may be cropped. Use dark dots on a light background and leave white space around it.
